Professional Photography

As a full time professional photographer I spend about 90% of my time photographing weddings, but I also do some commercial photography and I shoot stock images for a picture library, mainly landscape photos. Commercial photography can involve photographing anything from products to building interiors, staff photos etc. It's great though to get out shooting landscape photos as it usually involves very early morning starts or late evening finishes just to catch the light. On Sunday morning a friend and I headed down to the Yorkshire Dales to photograph the sun rising over the limestone pavements on Malham Moor and then headed to Scalber Force waterfall for a few photos. A 2.30am start from Glasgow found us on the moors before sunrise, we then discovered the limestone pavement was covered in ice and snow, making for tricky going, but we got to our location in time to capture some lovely sunrise photos.
