This section of John Carroll Photography is an online photographic gallery where you can browse, view and purchase unique images of amazing Scottish Landscapes. There are various galleries showing some of my Scottish landscapes, digital work, climbing and hill-walking photography. There are also some images from my home city of Glasgow. All of the images have been photographed by myself, John Carroll, over many years of walking and climbing the mountains and glens of this fantastic country of mine ... Scotland! I am a photographer who lives and works in Glasgow and would like to share these images with you and hope that you get as much enjoyment from viewing them as I did taking them. If you are a keen photographer, you'll find some technical details with most of the images. If you just like to browse, then enjoy!! I am totally biased when I say, there is no finer place for a photographer to work in, than Scotland. I am very lucky that I have some of the most stunning scenery right on my doorstep. Within an hours drive north from Glasgow you'll find yourself in the heart of the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs countryside, names famous throughout the world for "The Bonnie Banks" & "Rob Roy". This area has just become Scotland's first National Park. Continue for a further hour and you would be approaching one of my favourite haunts, Glencoe - "The Glen Of Weeping". You'll find a lot of the images on my site have been taken in and around the Glencoe/Rannoch Moor area, just south of Fort William. The Highlands of Scotland are the only great wilderness area left in the United Kingdom. I hope, that from my images, you feel the same sense of awe in the beauty and majesty of the mountains, glens, rivers and moorland of Scotland. Whether you are looking for a photograph to remind you of a previous visit or of one yet to come, I hope you'll find something here to enjoy.
