Landscape Photography Tuition

jcp_forthbridgesjcp_forthbridgesCE6DND Forth Road and Rail Bridges at Queensferry, Scotland, UK.

Do you wish to improve your landscape photography? Maybe you’re an absolute beginner who would like to gain a greater understanding of your camera, or maybe you have a little bit of knowledge but would like to gain some more advanced techniques, or you are just looking for some inspiration in a stunning Scottish location.  My aim is to help you understand how to take better photos. I offer informal one-to-one landscape photography tuition at various locations across Scotland. A one-to-one tuition day is ideal if you want to accelerate your development as a landscape photographer. We can cover various aspects of landscape photography such as composition & light, exposure, depth-of-field, the use of filters and HDR photography. A half day (4hrs) one-to-one training session costs £125 or you can opt for my full day (8hrs) tuition at £195.  Times/dates can be arranged to suit.

Some of my favourite locations are listed below but if you'd like to meet up somewhere else just let me know (additional fuel costs may apply). Landscape photography is all about light and my favourite time of the day is dawn and dusk when the light is at it's best. You also have to be prepared for the changeable Scottish weather so warm clothes, strong footwear and waterproofs are advisable. We can start the session with a quick chat about your current knowledge and what you are hoping to gain from your training. Even bring along some examples of your photos for a quick critique.  Please note my training days do not include travel or lunch (we would meet at the location).

Locations:
